Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar together again

Holiday is the fourth film in which Sonakshi Sinha has been cast with Akshay Kumar. She says there’s no doubt that they share a good working rapport, but the fact that they are both punctual also keeps the producers happy.
The duo has earlier featured in films like Rowdy Rathore, Joker and Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara.
“Holiday is my fourth film with Akshay. I think once when a pair is accepted, people enjoy watching them together onscreen and I guess that’s why people even cast them together,” Sonakshi said.
The actress, who has also worked with Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor, added: “Luckily, I’ve had a very good working rapport with all of my co-stars. Nobody has complained about me and they never said they don’t want to work with me.
“So that comfort level is there even with Akshay sir and I think we work very well together. Also we both are very punctual people, so our producers are very happy about it.”

She is looking forward to Holiday. Her other projects include Tevar and Prabhudheva’s Action Jackson, which are keeping her busy as of now. “Right now I am juggling between two things at one time and I am loving it and enjoying the process altogether. This makes me happy and I also learn a lot from this,” she said.

Bhoothnath Returns trailer: Amitabh Bachchan is back as the friendly ghost, but this time he is on a mission!

The trailer of Big B’s much awaited film is out and we must say, it has impressed us

Amitabh Bachchan surely impressed the masses as a friendly ghost in Bhootnath. And he is back, but this time he is on a mission. Yes, the much awaited trailer ofBhoothnath Returns is out and we must say it’s hilarious from the word go. But what is Bhoothnath’s mission, you ask? Well, this time he is here to fight with an evil yet funny politician (played by Boman Irani) and win the election. Yes, you read that right! So is he going to do that all alone? Definitely, no. That’s because, likeBhoothnath, this time around too he has a company of a naughty and young boy. Together, they dance, party and fight the goons. After watching the trailer, all we can say is that Bhoothnath Returns will be a delightful concoction of humour and fantasy that will entertain in abundance.
And as we have already told you, apart from Boman and Sr Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor will also make a special appearance in the film. That’s not all. Reportedly even Shahrukh Khan, who was in the prequel will be seen in the sequel as well.

Anyway, watch the trailer of Bhoothnath Returns here and tell us how do you like it.

Shaadi Ke Side Effects trade buzz: Will the Asia Cup affect the box office collection of Farhan Akhtar-Vidya Balan starrer?

Shaadi Ke Side Effects trade buzz: Will the Asia Cup affect the box office collection of Farhan Akhtar-Vidya Balan starrer?

This week the sequel of Pyaar Ke Side Effects will hit the theatres. Starring Farhan and Vidya in the lead, Shaadi Ke Side Effects looks impressive but will the film get cash registers ringing?

Directed by Saket Chaudhary, Shaadi Ke Side Effects features two very versatile actors of Bollywood – Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan. Since these two will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time, there is a lot of curiosity about how their chemistry will turn out on the silver screen. Though they make a hatke jodi, both Farhan and Vidya have charmed us with their acting prowess time and again. But will they manage to woo us as a pair in Shaadi Ke Side Effects? Will this romantic comedy create hungama at the box office? Exhibitor-distributor Akshaye Rathi says, “Shaadi Ke Side Effects has a lot of elements that can help it score well at the box office. Besides the novelty in the casting of the lead pair – Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan, the supporting cast – Ram Kapoor, Vir Das, Purab Kohli etc make up a crackling ensemble! The music of the film is very peppy and catchy and will appeal to the youth and hopefully draw them to the cinemas.”
While Farhan and Vidya’s latest film has all the ingredients to rule at the ticket windows, we wonder if the ongoing cricket tournament Asia Cup will play spoilsport for Shaadi ke Side Effects. Well, here’s what Rathi feels, “The only threat to the film is the ongoing Asia cup as cricket has as big following in India as films do. Either ways, when a film is engaging and entertaining, nothing can stop it!”

We totally agree with Akshaye. But as far as numbers game is concerned, only time will tell if Farhan and Vidya will become the elite members of Rs 100 crore club!
